The primary and secondary steelwork on the structure totals 450 tonnes. The first floor has two sub arc welded transfer beams and five trusses that support the levels above. The open theatre is formed by four trusses on at the second floor with a balcony level above. The high roof is made of 18m long U762x267x173 beams that support the suspended technical gallery below. The distinctive profile on the north and east elevations is created by curved beams. Coordination with several trades was required for the brickwork, precast concrete panels, windows, parapet and other features.
